The education in short
The personal trainer education is a practical education for those who want to help others with their training and lifestyle goals.
The teaching is based on our compendium followed by a theoretical review of what has been read. We then take this knowledge and translate it into practical skills through a lot of exciting exercises and tasks. Throughout the training, you will be continuously tested on your knowledge and skills.
Halfway through the training, you will start your first (trial) client course. This course will later form the basis for your final exam in the program. You are expected to train with your trial client at least once a week for 6 weeks.
The teaching consists of 132 hours of instruction. In addition, you should expect a similar number of hours for both theoretical and practical preparation, as well as the mandatory client course.
After the last lesson, there will be an exam consisting of three parts: The first part is an online multiple choice test (MCQ) that must be passed with 70% correct answers. After this, you will have to write a synopsis based on your client course. Your synopsis and your client course will form the basis for the final exam, which is 1 hour long and consists of 40 minutes of practice on the floor with your client followed by 20 minutes with questions about your synopsis and the theory behind your practical work on the floor.
After completing and passing the exam, you will be connected to our mentoring program. This will ensure you get sparring and help for a good start to your new career on the other side of the training.
What will you learn?
During the course, you will be taken through a series of topics that are all essential for your understanding of training and further work as a personal trainer:
Anatomy: Knowledge of the body's structure with practical transferability to exercise.
Physiology: Knowledge of how our body works, creates energy for different processes and moves.
Test/screening: A thorough insight into relevant functional tests and the performance of various body measurements.
Exercise theory: Review of a lot of exercises, including how to instruct, correct and spot them.
Programs and planning of training: You will gain knowledge of how to develop good training programs with a focus on the client's goals. Both short-term and long-term periodization strategies.
Psychosocial aspects of training and habit change: How to ask the right questions that will help you best understand your client's challenges and how you can create lasting habit changes through verbal interaction with your client. Here we collaborate with a coach who specializes in habit change/coaching.
The role as a personal trainer: We teach you what is required and expected of you as a personal trainer, and how you best meet these expectations.
Pain theory: Knowledge of preventive exercises and initiatives for common body/lifestyle problems as well as a modern understanding of pain science.
Nutrition: Basic knowledge of the building blocks of food and how to work nutritional strategies for your clients with a focus on their individual goals.
Business: How to build your personal training business and how to get off to a good start after graduation.
What do you get?
Concrete tools: Learn how to create good, effective and fun training programs based on concrete theoretical knowledge. You will also learn to translate this knowledge into practice so that you can help your clients towards their goals. So you learn both why and how to help your clients.
Knowledge to support your advice: We give you the professional empirical evidence for the choices you make in planning your client courses. For example, why should the client do 3 sets of 8 repetitions? Why is it good to train two or more times a week? Is protein powder necessary for building muscle mass?
Lots of experience: During the training, we spend a whole day working with real clients, i.e. people from outside with real wishes, goals and any minor ailments that you need to take into account. We find the clients for you. Thus, we help you through the first meeting. In addition, during the training, you will start your first client course, where you can continuously spar with your mentor.

In this way we set on of, if not the highest standard in the marked of personal training certification.
